The Writer is the writing agency global brands trust to help them define their brand and hit all the right notes in their customer communication.

It sets the gold standard in brand language, tone of voice, and copy that converts.

As a freelancer for them, I've worked on SEO and chatbot copy for Barclays, customer scripts for Amex, and creative and functional copy for Cisco's global web redesign, to name just a few.

02 — Creative process

Every brief starts with a meeting with the client's marketing team, where I ask all my questions - even the ones the client hasn't thought of. After all, the better the brief, the better the copy.

Each project at The Writer has a 'second brain' - another writer who reads what you've written, checks it's all on brief and gives (normally super-helpful) feedback.

In an ideal world, all copy projects would work this way. After all, writing is a community endeavour!
