I love working with them as a freelance SEO copywriter. I create keyword-rich, authoritative and natural-sounding long-form articles to help their large corporate clients rank better in Google and build authority and awareness with their target audience.
Being a copywriter means you need the ability to become an expert on any subject quickly. That's even more true of SEO copywriting, where you can end up writing about some pretty niche subjects (anything from creative fencing ideas to different types of nails).
Brainlabs do some of the hard work for me. My brief includes the keyword research, keywords and phrases to include, and links to the top competitor articles.
Before I get anywhere near writing I do a lot of research, and a fair amount of thinking. Most of the SEO articles I write are between 1,500 and 2,500 words, which is wordy enough. So it's important to be clear about the flow and scope of the article before I get started.
